Tutus and Ties Fun RunJoin us for Fun, Fitness, and Fundraising at our 2023 Tutus and Ties Fun Run
When: Sunday, October 1st at 9am
Where: Lakeway City Park, 502 Hurst Creek Rd, Lakeway TX 78734 Event Details: This family-friendly course is 1.2 miles and includes 6 fun activity stations along the way. For those who prefer to bypass the stations, there is an option for a self-timed 5K run or walk. Online Silent Auction: The Online Silent Auction is for EVERYONE— not only those participating in the fun run. In fact, bidders in years past have participated from across the country. Items that are not available for shipping are clearly marked, but a great many of the items can be shipped or emailed to the winning bidder. This year’s auction includes travel such as a luxury villa in Acapulco, items made by AIMers, tools, a football signed by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, kitchen goodies, jewelry, and gift certificates for lovers of food, wine, and fun activities. Bidding Opens: 6am Saturday, Sept. 23rd Bidding Closes: 8pm Thursday, Sept. 28th Item Pick Up (for items that will be picked up in person): Sept. 30th 9am-11am in the parking lot of Independent Financial in Lakeway Sneak Peak of all the great auction items begins on Sept. 22nd THANK YOU! AIM does not charge a fee to AIMers, which means 100% of the funds to cover costs of our operations comes from fundraising. Tutus and Ties is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Dates to Remember:
Aug. 31st Registration Deadline to be guaranteed to receive the t-shirt size of your choice and a tutu or tie. Register HERE. Registrations received on or after September 1st cannot be guaranteed a particular t-shirt size nor a tutu nor tie.

Sunday, Oct. 1st 7th Annual Tutus and Ties Fun Run
- 9:00 AM Check-In Receive your AIM Passport to Fun in the Upper Pavilion.
- 9:30 AM Start Time Gather at the Lower Level for opening remarks and to start the race.
- 11:00 AM Event Close: Gather at the Upper Pavilion for a healthy snack, event closing remarks and prize drawings.
- Course: The course is a 1.2 mile loop through Lakeway City Park with fun stations along the way. Get your AIM Passport to Fun stamped at each station in order to be entered into a drawing to win a prize. There will be a designated start and finish line for those who prefer to do a self-timed 5K and bypass the stations.
- Amenities: Water stations will be provided along the way with restrooms on site.
- Event Close: Gather at the Upper Pavilion for a healthy snack, event closing remarks and prize drawings.
- Out of Town Registrants: For those who wish to support AIM but can't make it to the Event. Choose anytime on or before October 1st, and walk or run around your neighborhood, a favorite hiking trail, a park path, etc. – the options are unlimited! If you choose to add more FUN to the Run, ideas include: jump roping, hula hooping, basketball shooting, egg-in-a-spoon racing, chalk art creating, etc. Upload your pictures to our event photo album.

Weather Updates
In the event of questionable weather on the day of the event, please check AIM’s Facebook page for any weather-related updates. An alternate distribution date for t-shirts and auction items will be set in the event of a rain cancellation, but we will be unable to refund fees.
COVID-19 Information
Safety is AIM’s top priority, so we ask all participants to follow all local, state and federal Covid-19 guidelines as you walk, run, and enjoy fun activity stations. In the event that we cannot hold an in-person event this year, we will pivot to an online event following our blueprint from 2020.
