Tutus and Ties Fun Run

Join us for Fun, Fitness, and Fundraising at our 2025 Tutus and Ties Fun Run

When: Saturday, October 18th at 8am

Where: Hill Country Galleria, 12712 Hill Country Blvd, Bee Cave TX 78738

Event Details: We welcome walkers and runners of all ability levels to join us for this 5K self-timed Fun Run (or walk). for those who prefer, there will be shorter route options as well.

Online Silent Auction: The Online Silent Auction is for EVERYONE— not only those participating in the Fun Run. In fact, bidders in years past have participated from across the country. Items that are not available for shipping are clearly marked, but a great many of the items can be shipped or emailed to the winning bidder.

This year’s auction includes travel items, items made by AIMers, tools, kitchen goodies, jewelry, and gift certificates for lovers of food, wine, and fun activities.

Bidding Opens: 6am Wednesday, Oct. 8th
Bidding Closes: 8pm Tuesday, Oct. 14th

Item Pick Up (for items that will be picked up in person) on Thursday, October 16th 6-8pm at Lake Travis Biergarten (3519 Ranch Road 620, Austin TX 78734). Please note that there will be no pickup of auction items at the Fun Run.

THANK YOU! Because AIM does not charge a fee to AIMers (these are the adults with disabilities whom we serve), we rely entirely on fundraising and donations to provide the supports that allow AIMers to thrive. For the past 9 years, Tutus and Ties has been our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we offer our profound thanks to everyone - those who have been with us since Year 1 to those joining for the first time this year - who help us make independence possible.

YOUR SUPPORT provides:

Transportation so that AIMers can get to work and AIM activities
Opportunities for ongoing learning, physical fitness, and social activities

Entry Fees

Registrations Received by September 19
$25 Adult Registration (includes t-shirt)
$15 Child Registration (12 and under - includes t-shirt)
$20 Out of Town Registrant - for registration without a t-shirt
$10 Tutu or $5 Tie

Sept. 19th Registration Deadline to be guaranteed to receive the t-shirt size of your choice and a tutu or tie.
Oct. 8th 6:00 AM Silent Auction Starts
Oct. 14th 8:00 PM Silent Auction Closes. Highest bidders will receive an email notifying them that they have won and can pick up their item at the Oct. 16th pick-up event.
Oct. 16th 6:00-8:00 PM Pickup of t-shirts, tutus, ties, and silent auction items at Lake Travis Biergarten (3519 Ranch Road 620, Austin TX 78734). Please note that there will be no pickup of auction items at the Fun Run.
Saturday, Oct. 18th 9th Annual Tutus and Ties Fun Run

8:00 AM Check-In and Registration Join us at the Central Plaza of the Hill Country Galleria for check in and fun lawn games. We will accept walk-in registrations, although for those we can’t guarantee shirts nor tutus or ties.
8:30 AM Start Time Gather at the Central Plaza for opening remarks and to start the race.
9:45 AM Event Close: Gather at the Central Plaza for entertainment, snacks, closing remarks and prize drawings.
Course Overview: This 5K through and around the Hill Country Galleria is self-timed and can be run or walked. For those who prefer, there will be shorter route options as well.
Amenities: Water stations will be provided along the way with restrooms on site.
Out of Town Registrants: For those who wish to support AIM but can't make it to the Event, choose anytime on or before October 18th to walk or run around your neighborhood, a favorite hiking trail, a park path, etc. – the options are unlimited! If you choose to add more FUN to the Run, ideas include: jump roping, hula hooping, basketball shooting, egg-in-a-spoon racing, chalk art creating, etc. Upload your pictures to our event photo album.

Weather Updates

In the event of questionable weather on the day of the event, please check AIM’s Facebook page for any weather-related updates. An alternate distribution date for t-shirts will be set in the event of a rain cancellation, but we will be unable to refund fees.
